Kelley Johnson is a Columbia, South Carolina native, who has studied Spanish and Hispanic culture.
She received a B.A. in Spanish from the College of Charleston and moved to Mexico in 2007, where she lived s in the cities of Puebla, Mexico City, and Cancun. While residing in Puebla, she obtained a M.A. in Applied Linguistics from the Universidad de las Américas Puebla (UDLAP). Upon graduation, she taught ESL (English as a Second Language) for 5 years and studied translation.
In 2015, she moved to Chicago, where she was an assistant for the Mexico Tourism Board Midwest Chicago office. She enjoys supporting the tourism industry, while assisting in the promotion of a country she cherishes.
