Meeting Incentive Experts (MIE), The Los Cabos Tourism Board, and the Grand Fiesta Americana Los Cabos All Inclusive Golf and Spa Resort hosted over twelve strategic clients from the United States along with our Grand Fiesta Americana partners John Kirwan, Managing Director of Grand Fiesta Americana Los Cabos and Live Aqua Residences and Maricarmen Gutierrez, Director of Sales, for a 4-day Summit in Sunny Los Cabos.
Attendees were able to experience MIE Health and Safety procedures that have been implemented as per Mexican Government authorities and the CDC. From airport arrival to activity transportation, they experienced first-hand protocols including temperature checks and self-distancing. Additionally, all received a welcome hygiene kit to utilize throughout their stay.
Some of the trip highlights included a Breakfast presentation with Q&A from the Los Cabos Tourism Board, Dia de Los Muertos (Day of the Dead) dinner at the resort and a sunset catamaran cruise with celebrity chef on board presenting a ceviche making class, where all were able to admire the breathtaking views of the Pacific and the Sea of Cortez. Another culinary experience was dinner offsite at Tres Sirena’s restaurant and meeting the owner and famed Baja chef, Edith Jimenez.
Grand Fiesta Americana Los Cabos with 249 rooms and suites, did an outstanding job showcasing their Travel with Confidence Health and Safety protocols that emphasized the new, creative ways of providing wow factor experiences in a non-evasive, healthy environment.
The final evening at the resort took place under the stars showcasing the Barefoot Elegance Wine and Spa experience. This features an interactive Mexican wine pairing from the resort Sommelier on their stunning beach, followed by a beautifully plated dinner and ended with a bon fire and amazing fireworks display. The perfect end to a perfect journey, sipping the best Mexican wines while sharing memorable experiences!
