MIE celebrates gourmet festival with Café des Artistes in Puerto Vallarta
MIE celebrates gourmet festival with Café des Artistes. The Gourmet Festival turns 22! In 1995 Thierry Blouet and Heinz Reize came out with the idea of promoting and upgrading the culinary standards to competitive international levels by interacting with new methods and the creativity of highly qualified chefs. The purpose of this outstanding Fiesta is to strengthen the gastronomy of the region as an incomparable showcase to promote the destination through the excellence of its fine cuisine. The Gourmet Festival has given us the chance to increase the good epicurean reputation of the region and even of the country, but more importantly and better, it is the promoter of Mexican hospitality and the best experience that the gourmet cuisine in the world may offer.
Los Cabos International Film Festival
The Los Cabos International Film Festival aims to positively contribute to the growth of global film culture, focusing especially on Mexico, Canada and the United States while supporting their filmmakers. It collaborates with the encouragement and diffusion of cultural activities and tourism for Baja California Sur. This year, Los Cabos seeks to continue promoting and exploring bold, reflexive and inspiring cinematographic proposals for international audiences. From November 9th to 13th, 2016, Mexican, American and Canadian strategic partners, as well as friends from throughout the world, built a platform of cultural and commercial exchange of the film scene in beautiful Baja California Sur.

In his third start of the 2016-17 PGA TOUR Season, Pat Perez came from one back to win the 10th annual OHL Classic at Mayakoba. Perez, who was playing on a Major Medical Extension, made five birdies and one bogey en route to a 21-under-par 263, good for a two-stroke victory over 54-hole leader Gary Woodland. The OHL Classic at Mayakoba made golf history in 2007 when it became the first PGA TOUR event to ever be contested outside of the United States or Canada. Today it remains México’s only PGA TOUR event and is regarded as one of the finest on TOUR by professionals, sponsors and spectators alike. The OHL Classic at Mayakoba is building a strong tradition and a proud history. Legendary golfers and an outstanding course come together each year to create dramatic and exciting results.
