Puerto Vallarta International Airport Procedures

ARRIVAL

Upon arrival you will first proceed to immigration to present your passport to the immigration agent or by using the automated kiosks. After clearing immigration, you will collect your luggage from the baggage claim area and continue on to customs where you will present your customs declaration (received in-flight or upon arrival in Mexico) to the customs agent and will be required to put your luggage through the Xray machines. You may be selected for baggage inspection, which is at random. Once through customs, continue walking until you are OUTSIDE of the terminal. MIE transportation escorts will be OUTSIDE holding Presidio Insurance, Ltd Signage.

DO NOT accept transportation from any other company inside the airport, only MIE escorts in uniform with your signage located outside the airport terminal.
You will be escorted to your transportation vehicle where MIE staff will assist in loading your luggage.

 

DEPARTURE

You will receive your departure notice once you arrive in Punta de Mita. Your return airport transportation will depart from the hotel lobby 3 hours prior to your scheduled flight departure time. Upon arrival to the airport, MIE transportation escorts will assist in guiding you inside. You must print boarding passes at the kiosks prior to checking in with your airline.

 

 

Transfer to the Conrad Punta de Mita is approximately 60 minutes.
