This ancient Mayan city was built in the middle of the classic period. Its name has many meanings some of which are the following: “water humidity”, “moss water”, “turbid water” or “plenty of water”. This city was in it’s peak a very important place which exercised it’s control in the north part of the state.

Coba is located in the middle of the jungle. One of the main structures, the Nohoch Mul pyramid is 42 meters high. This building is very well preserved and one of the most important archaeological sites in the state of Quintana Roo.

Visit a secluded Maya village, lagoons, cenotes, jungle paths, and the natural reserve that protects the flora and fauna of the area.
