MIE AND SITE will be hosting an incredible and one of the largest CSR programs in Los Cabos at the Leonardo Gastelum Elementary School. 1,500 back packs with school supplies donated by SITE Classic Attendees (buyers and suppliers) and sporting equipment will be distributed by participants while they interact with the children. MIE looks forward to working with our customers and giving back to the local Cabo San Lucas community and would be happy to assist you with your next program in Cancun, Puerto Vallarta or Los Cabos, Mexico.

Paola Quintero has over six years of experience as a special event/incentive travel specialist, creating high-touch programs for her clients. As a native of Mexico, Paola is bi-lingual and has extensive experience with operating incentive programs in Mexico, and other global destinations. Paola joined the Meeting Incentive Experts Chicago team in 2011 as Account Manager. During 5 years with MIE, she planned and operated many successful programs in Cancun – Riviera Maya, Puerto Vallarta and Los Cabos. In February of 2016 she took a position with Creative Group Inc. as Program Manager to further her event planning and operation skills. She was responsible for client management and leadership, project implementation, onsite execution, creative solutions development and financials. She is now thrilled to be back with MIE in our Los Cabos office as Los Cabos Operations Manager.
The Resort at Pedregal named best hotel in Mexico by Travel + Leisure Readers
The Resort at Pedregal, a AAA Five-Diamond, Forbes Five-Star resort in Cabo San Lucas, has been named Best Resort Hotel, Mexico in the 2017 Travel + Leisure World’s Best Awards readers’ survey. In addition to achieving this No. 1 place on the World’s Best list with a score of 96.88, the resort was also awarded the No. 28 spot in the 100 Best Hotels in the World ranking. This is the second time the resort has been awarded this prestigious accolade after being named No. 1 in Mexico in 2014. Readers of Travel + Leisure were invited to participate through Travel + Leisure magazine, T+L tablet editions, newsletters, social media, and travelandleisure.com. The majestic Resort at Pedregal lies on Cabo San Lucas’ most coveted parcel of land.
Puerto Vallarta Airport sees a 12% increase in passengers
The International Airport in Puerto Vallarta has increased the number of passengers though its doors by 12.90%, thanks to the attractions that have become a magnet for tourists, said Grupo Aeroportuario del Pacífico (GAP). GAP general director, Fernando Bosque Mohino, said that joint promotions between the Puerto Vallarta Tourism Trust and the Visitors and Conventions Office of the Riviera Nayarit, are key to the success of this tourist destination. He said that this air terminal offers 416 weekly departure operations to 47 destinations in the United States, Canada and Europe. The growth trend is positive for this 2017.
